Hill House Nursing Home was established in the 1950's after conversion of an historic grade II listed house. The building stands on a restricted garden site in a residential area of Brixham. MTA Architects were appointed to extend and refurbish the buildings to provide an an additional 17 bedrooms including provision for EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm) patients in a secure part of the home. The project also included the general upgrading of existing kitchens and the formation of a communal lounge and dining area.
