The original project was the conversion and extension of a Grade II listed building to create a new nursing home within a country estate in North Devon. MTA Architects have recently completed the final phase which involved a further extension to form 4 luxury residential units giving a total of 71 bedrooms. The new rooms have been built to a very high standard, exceeding that required under the regulatory Care Standards for nursing homes. The new buildings are modern in style but also complimentary to the original building and sensitive to their rural surroundings.
