Barn Conversion, Liss

This project involved a 2 storey extension to an existing Barn conversion. Situated in a sensitive location adjoining a number of Listed buildings this extension includes the addition of a new split level Kitchen and Family room over a new sunken Garage/Carport. The use of traditional and contextual materials in a contemporary way makes this addition fit seamlessly in to its location. Its clever use of space allows much better integration of the living areas and provides for a much more workable family space. Completed in 2011 this project fulfilled all the clients criteria and provides them with a family home for the 21st century.
