House Extension and Refurbishment, Dartmouth

This detached house sits on the side of a valley overlooking the Dart Estuary. The project involved a complete overhaul and extension of the house. A new storey provides additional living accommodation or a self-contained apartment served by its own spiral staircase and front entrance door. A composition of timber cladding and new render to the external walls has transformed the appearance of the house and large areas of glazing provide lots of natural light, expansive views and access to external balconies. The interiors have been carefully designed to provide a complimentary backdrop to the Client's extensive art collection.
