This Halfords Autocentre is one of three retail warehouses designed by MTA Architects on the Liverton Business Park in Exmouth. Its prominent position and visual impact on the main road, demanded a high quality building and the planners were looking for more than the usual industrial shed. The shape of the building and roof-line had to be carefully considered and external materials thoughtfully selected. A combination of cambrian slates, different shades of facing brickwork, metal cladding panels and sensitive integration of the corporate signage, contribute to an attractive and high quality new building.
