A dilapidated bungalow currently occupies this hillside site with superb views out over the River Teign
estuary. MTA Architects' proposals for two new modern houses have been granted planning approval by
Teignbridge District Council. The design seeks to maximise the southerly views from the front of the houses
over the estuary and hills beyond. The large areas of glazing are shaded by the projecting roof and external
terraces step down the site providing various areas from which to enjoy the view.
